Membership supports the Annual Conference, Distinguished Lectureship, Works in Progress series, and SAGP-sponsored panels.

Membership connects you to one of the largest scholarly communities devoted specifically to Ancient Greek philosophy. SAGP currently maintains a mailing list of approximately 1,500 people and continues to grow both nationally and internationally.
Members support and participate in the Society’s scholarly life, including the Annual Conference, Distinguished Lectureship, Works in Progress series, and SAGP-sponsored panels at meetings of other associations.

Members help sustain a global community of scholars and students working across traditions, institutions, and countries.
SAGP especially encourages junior and mid-career scholars to present their work and become part of the Society’s scholarly life.
SAGP annual dues are established and periodically reassessed by the President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Board of Directors.
Each membership year begins on September 1 and ends on August 31. Membership may be paid for one, three, or five years.
Current membership is only $10 per year. Membership is required for attendance at SAGP conferences and events.
